National Neighborhood Night Out

The Stone Park National Neighborhood Night Out was held Tuesday, August 4th. It was a fun night and we had a good turn out. Many thanks to the Bennington Fire Dept who brought their trucks and turned on the fire hydrant. Thanks also to Officer Bob Sackett from the sherriffs office who came to the event and brought lots of information about neighborhood safety. Thank you also to Jerry who provided the Coca-Cola beverages and Hy-Vee who provided the cookies. Also, thanks to David Nuss and the homeowners association for providing the Schwans Ice Cream treats. And finally, thank all of you for coming and making the event fun and successful. See you there again next year!

Home Improvements

Many of the homeowners in our neighborhood are facing the task of replacing their asphalt shingles and other exterior home improvements due to hail damage.

These exterior improvements must be approved by the HOA. If not approved, homeowners run the risk of having to remove any improvements that do not coincide with Neighborhood Covenants and rebuild accordingly.

Per the Neighborhood Covenants, All Roofs are required to be Weathered Wood color.
Homeowners are required to request, to the HOA Board, if the color is anything other than weathered wood.
To help guide your decision making, the Board has decided to vote against any request for green, white or light grey shingles.

As is required with any improvement to the exterior of your home, please submit your request with a sample color to the HOA and we will be timely in our decision so you can move forward with your rebuilding.
